VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, in association with Cochin Thoracic Society (CTS) organized ‘Comprehensive Sleep Medicine Update Conference – SLEEP CON 2022’ on Saturday. Experts from various leading hospitals in India discussed innovative therapies for sleep-related health problems in the conference.
The conference included discussions about sleep-related innovative therapies and research discussions on sleep-related diseases like snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia etc. The session was inaugurated by Mr S K Abdulla, CEO, VPS Lakeshore Hospital. Dr. H. Ramesh, Dr. Mohan Mathew, Dr. Hari Lakshmanan P, and Dr. Mujeeb Rahman, Senior Consultants from VPS Lakeshore Hospital, spoke on the occasion.
Leading pulmonologists Professor J C Suri (Fortis, New Delhi), Dr. Saurabh Mittal (AIIMS, Delhi), Dr. Sourin Bhuniya (AIIMS Bhubaneswar), Dr. Ashalatha Radhakrishnan, and Dr. Sapna Erat Sreedharan (Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram), presented various topics with regards to various treatment options of sleep apnea and other sleep disorders. Leading doctors from Kerala and other states presented papers in four sessions. The online airing was accommodated for participants, including medical practitioners and students, from different parts of India.
