An international teachers’ exchange programme was organised at Asoka World School under the aegis of the Education International Organisation on 3rd February, Tuesday. The programme was honoured by the presence of esteemed visiting educators from Sweden — Mr. Mathias Wichan Wikström, Ms. Aya Ameen, Ms. Angela Desiree Singh Tedborn, and Mr. Nils Staffan Eriksson — fostering meaningful professional interaction and cross-cultural learning.

The teachers were assigned tasks based on two educational videos, encouraging discussion, teamwork, and reflective thinking. This activity promoted the exchange of teaching perspectives and innovative classroom practices.
Adding a rich cultural dimension to the programme, the Malayalam teacher introduced the guest teachers to a traditional Malayalam lullaby, which was received with great enthusiasm and appreciation.
During the reflection session, teachers from both countries shared their experiences and insights. One of the guest teachers expressed his admiration for the teacher–student ratio at the school and was particularly impressed by the respect and discipline shown by the students towards their teachers.
