Sabari Group’s Vedic Village Resort at Kodungallur won the award for Best Boutique Retreat in Kerala at the 19th Global Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Awards organized by Hospitality India Group. Santhosh Nair, CEO, received the award from former BJP National Vice President Shyam Jaju at a function held in New Delhi. Former mayor and current councilor of London’s Southwark Borough Sunil Chopra, former Union Tourism and Culture Minister KJ Alphonse, Bollywood filmmakers Anil Sharma, Vinod Bachchan, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and others participated in the event.
Santhosh Nair also said that the new projects of Vedic Village, a part of Sabarigroup, will be opened soon in Alappuzha, Willington Island and Bangalore.
Some of the other notable winners this year include ITC Hotels, Radisson Blu, Nepal Tourism Board, Sofitel Mumbai, Marriott Aravalli, JW Marriott Mumbai and Hyatt Regency Pune.
